Roma cultural and social association Romane Jile came into existence following demands and ideas of Roma inhabitants, which lives in region Dolný Hron, mainly into villages and cities: Čata, Veľké Ludince, Šalov, Šárovce, Želiezovce, Bíňa, Kamenín, Štúrovo and another. From 1998 performs dancer-theatrical collective named Romane Jile, which presented itself on several inland,
international and abroad festivals, where presented successfully the folklore and Roma traditions for Romas and for majoritarian population too. Besides cultural activities the association Romane Jile mainly deals with activities bearing on upheaval of Roma´s living level, and till possible, on their best integration to the majoritarian companies. Association works in national and ethnic mixture environs, where lives Hungarians, Slovaks and Romas, and where happens oftentimes ethnic and national tensions. One of the principalest objectives of this association is increasing tolerance and building positive relations towards national and ethnic minor in region in a long term. Association organises culture and social actions for example: musical festival, research of teenage talent, recollection on the Roma´s holocaust and other. This association is from 2000 registered as a civil association. In the same year was established the Roma club in Čata village (as a first Roma club in Nitra territory!). This association concentrate its activities especially for formatting attitudes and for motivating to solve problems and assume the responsibility on behalf of teenage - young people. The work of association during school year contents mainly of discourses fixed on the precaution pathologic effect in the community, everyday tutorage, individual set-out scholars to school under management of qualify educationist and interest activities as a: song, recitation, visual arts and folklore collectives with authentically Roma music. During summer holidays is organised summer camp for Roma children. Romane Jile generates activities in cultural, ethnic and national mixture region. In village lives Slovaks,Hungarians, Rumanian speaking Romas and Hungarian speaking Romas also.
